Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Bagheera mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Azad Reads ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Bagheera is a pet-care companion app that helps you keep track of your pet's health, vaccinations, vet appointments, and daily care routines. Features may include:

• Pet profiles with health and vaccination records
• Reminders for appointments and care routines
• Health tracking over time

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

The Service is free to use. We may offer optional paid subscription tiers that unlock additional features, and the details of each tier will be shown in the app before you subscribe.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store your credit card information.

Subscriptions & Renewals

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time via your account settings or the app store. Refunds are handled in accordance with the applicable app store's refund policy.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Engage in any illegal activity or violate any applicable law
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others
• Distribute malware or attempt to breach or overload our infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service or its content
• Use the Service for automated or bot activity at commercial scale

Consequences of Violation

Violation may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account, without refund where applicable.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

Your Content

You retain all rights to the pet care data and content you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.

Our Software

All code, design, branding, and technology of the Service are owned by Bagheera and its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, modify, or resell our software.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Bagheera IS NOT A VETERINARY OR MEDICAL SERVICE. INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL VETERINARY ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT. ALWAYS CONSULT A QUALIFIED VETERINARIAN FOR ANY MEDICAL CONCERNS ABOUT YOUR PET.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED the amounts paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bagheera, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

We will first seek to resolve any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms informally through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days, either party may refer the matter to the competent courts of India. These Terms are governed by the laws of India without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email at least thirty (30) days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bagheera regarding use of the Service. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
